What language is it taught in?
Sinhala and English together, so explanations are clear without losing important design vocabulary in translation.
Do I need design experience to start?
No. It is built for absolute beginners. If you can commit to the projects, the foundations are covered for you.
How much time does it take each week?
About 10 focused hours a week. That covers live sessions, assignments and project work, and it is enough time to actually finish what you start.
Is it live or recorded?
Designer X runs as a live cohort over Zoom: Saturdays and Sundays, 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm (Sri Lanka time) on Zoom. Every session is recorded, so you can catch up if you miss one.
What computer do I need?
Any laptop or desktop that runs a modern browser. Figma works in the browser, so you do not need an expensive machine. A stable internet connection matters more than specs.
What do I actually leave with?
A complete UI/UX skillset, two live client projects for your portfolio, a freelancer profile ready to take orders, and a launch plan for landing your first USD clients.
How do payments work?
The full course fee is LKR 30,000. With the 50% early bird offer it is LKR 15,000. Pay in full and you get another LKR 2,500 off, so you pay just LKR 12,500. Or reserve your seat with a LKR 5,000 deposit and pay the remaining LKR 10,000 by 21 October 2026. Bank transfer and card are both accepted.
